All ESI teachers hold at least a Bachelor of Arts or Science degree from an accredited university. In addition, ESI teachers are trained and certified in TEFL teaching methodology. Through ESI’s certification process, each teacher also gains extensive classroom experience in a supervised setting. |

ESI seeks to recruit only people of the highest quality. Two of the most valuable characteristics that we require of our candidates include a teamwork mentality (the ability to work well with other people, including people of other cultures) and a flexible personality (the ability to adapt to new and challenging situations). In addition to these characteristics, ESI teachers have a solid reputation for their professionalism and commitment to their students.
ESI has a strong commitment towards international development based on Christian humanitarian principles, and therefore only accepts teachers who have the highest level of moral and ethical behavior believing that these values make the world a better place. |

ESI provides a framework for its teachers through an extensive and continually updated curriculum. In addition, each team is equipped with a reference library, teaching guides and other helpful supplementary materials.
Because the focus of our English teachers is on conversational fluency, engaging students in actual listening and speaking practice is the primary goal.
Students regularly express great appreciation for the stimulating and proactive methods of teaching conversational English that ESI teachers use.

Prior to their arrival in the host country, ESI teachers also receive preparation in the area of cross-cultural adaptation. ESI’s unique training program is highly effective in preparing ESI teachers to succeed both professionally and culturally while overseas. |
